Let’s be honest, it’s been a bit of a year, hasn’t it? Firstly there was that thing that happened, then those other things, and even now there’s all that stuff, am I right? One thing at least is still refreshingly simple: the SHOTORAMA 2025 programme!

The format for SHOTORAMA, like the line-up of instructors, is a little different every time. This year we’ve tried hard to bring in some new instructors, while keeping some of our familiar friends in the line up. The timings have been tweaked (less breaks, sorry, that’s my influence!) to allow for more sessions. Here at shotorama towers we don’t like the word ‘chaos’, we prefer ‘urgent variety’…
Here it is!
SHOTORAMA SCHEDULE
The schedule is planned as follows below. Everyone will be in the same room, but the intention is to split into two halves (approximately according to grade) and run workshops simultaneously. Each workshop is 45 minutes, with short breaks in between. Everyone will train together for the final plenary session.
12:00 – 12:10 Welcome & Warm Up
12:10 – 13:00 Workshop Session 1
(5 mins break)
13:05 – 13:55 Workshop Session 2
(15 mins break)
14:10 – 15:00 Workshop Session 3
(5 mins break)
15:05 – 15:55 Workshop Session 4
(15 mins break)
16:00 – 16:50 Workshop Session 5
16:50 – 17:00 Warm Down & Farewell

IT’s SO SIMPLE
…but what do our charismatic and illustrious instructors have in store for you? Time to get excited!
Sensei Adam Purkiss: Sensei Adam…
Sensei Anni Yang Christensen: Sensei Anni…
Sensei Natalie Böttcher: Sneaky & Cheeky. Sensei Natalie brings her competition experience into the workshop, looking at fighting smart, with precision and control. There might also be some sneaky attacks and cheeky distractions!
Sensei Amelia Senft: Fast Friends. Sensei Amelia has uncovered the formula. Technique, multiplied by Fast, equals Fast Technique.
Sensei Neil Jerome: Every Lamentably Lost Angle. Sensei Neil has been thinking about changing his direction; not just in life, but in kata. Why is 90 degrees always the ‘right’ angle, anyway?!
Sensei Chris Mulville:. Sensei Chris
Way to go! Well done you.
