Programme 2026

Let’s be honest, it’s been a bit of a year, hasn’t it? Firstly there was that thing that happened, then those other things, and even now there’s all that stuff, am I right? One thing at least is still refreshingly simple: the SHOTORAMA 2026 programme!

The format for SHOTORAMA, like the line-up of instructors, is a little different every time. This year we’ve tried hard to bring in some new instructors, while keeping some of our familiar friends in the line up. The timings have been tweaked (less breaks, sorry, that’s my influence!) to allow for more sessions. Here at shotorama towers we don’t like the word ‘chaos’, we prefer ‘urgent variety’…

Here it is!

SHOTORAMA SCHEDULE

The schedule is planned as follows below. Everyone will be in the same room, but the intention is to split into two halves (approximately according to grade) and run workshops simultaneously. Each workshop is 45 minutes, with short breaks in between. Everyone will train together for the final plenary session.

12:00 – 12:10 Welcome, Picture, & Warm Up
12:10 – 12:55 Workshop Session 1
(5 mins break)
13:00 – 13:45 Workshop Session 2
(15 mins break)
14:00 – 14:45 Workshop Session 3
(5 mins break)
14:50 – 15:35 Workshop Session 4
(15 mins break)
15:50 – 16:35 Workshop Session 5
16:35 – 17:00 Final Session & Farewell

IT’s SO SIMPLE

…but what do our charismatic and illustrious instructors have in store for you? Well, we’re still working it out for now, but come back later as the details get filled in! 🙂

Sensei Adam Purkiss: Sensei Adam…

Sensei Amelia Senft: Fast Friends. Sensei Amelia has uncovered the formula. Technique, multiplied by Fast, equals Fast Technique.

Sensei Neil Jerome: Extra Legs Leach Advantage. Sensei Neil has been given the keys to the gates of powerful technique,,, but he’s got too many legs! Find out how he solves this problem, or at the very least what the silly goose is talking about now.

Sensei Hayden Meredith: The Kase for the Defence. Sensei Hayden brings his own unique flavour of shotokan, drawing on the rootedness and open hand techniques from kase-ha shotokan. Expect exercises using same-arm blocking&countering, open hand techniques, and using kiba dachi as more than just your least favourite stance!

Sensei Rangan Ravindran: Sensei Rangan

Sensei Georges Dussart: Sensei Georges..

Sensei John Parnell: Sensei John is our returning headline act, offering his usual sideways selection of nanadan niceties!

Way to go! Well done you.
